Design for Acadiana
Located in southwest Louisiana, we strives to improve the existing design community, bring new design-related jobs to the Acadiana region, and continually work to retain local design talent.
Our Team
The vision of Louisiana Design Works is to ensure that students will be immersed in a professional design environment that prepares them for future careers in design. Our team is primarily composed of design faculty and students associated with the Industrial Design program at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. Our core faculty team consists of Thomas Cline, Adam Feld, and Andy Loewy; additionally, other faculty members are consulted, if necessary, in regard to the specific projects that we are facilitating. Student team members are selected through an application process that includes an interview and portfolio review. Available student positions include Social Media and Marketing Director, Digital Design Director, Outreach Coordinator, Content Creators, Product Development Specialists, Graphics Specialists, Sketch and Ideation Specialists, and Design Research Specialists.
